Jesse Valdez grew up in Kearns, attended Western Hills and Hunter High, and today lives in the Western Hills neighborhood with his family. He spent nearly a decade as a photojournalist at ABC4, telling Utah stories, and now serves the public with the Utah Department of Corrections. He’s known for listening first, building consensus, and delivering practical results for neighbors across Kearns.

Roots & Family

Jesse is a lifelong member of the West Valley / Kearns community. He and his wife, Ali, are raising their children here and spend free time camping, enjoying Utah’s outdoors, and cheering at local games. This is home—and the neighbors of K-Town are extended family.
